Draft, not legal advice. These terms will be reviewed before a public launch.
Terms
By using Stikr, its browser extension or this website, you agree to the terms below. They're written in plain language on purpose.
The service
- Stikr is free. It's provided as is, without guarantees that it's always available or error-free.
- How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
- You need to be old enough to have a Google account where you live to add stickers, and 18 or older to turn on 18+ content in the app.
Adding stickers
- When you add an image, you confirm that you're allowed to share it, for example because you made it or its owner lets it be shared.
- Images on Pinterest and other sites belong to their creators. Follow those sites' rules when you save from them.
- You let us store, review, change the size or format of, and share the image as a sticker in the community pack. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
- Uploads are limited per 24 hours by tier (Tier 1 · 100 up to Tier 5 · unlimited). Tiers go up and down each week based on how many of your stickers pass review.
- Every upload is reviewed automatically and sometimes by a person. Review can take time when many stickers are waiting.
Content rules
- Allowed, tagged explicit and hidden by default: nudity, sexual content, swearing and crude adult jokes. The app shows them only after an 18+ opt-in.
- Allowed, tagged offensive and hidden by default: edgy or offensive humour. Severe hate or dehumanising content goes to a person and may be removed.
- Rejected: gore and self-harm.
- Never allowed: anything sexual involving a minor, which is sent to a person and never published automatically, and any illegal content. Known child sexual abuse material is blocked, reported to NCMEC, and the account is banned.
- Don't use the service for spam, harassment, or to upload other people's private images.
We may remove stickers, lower your tier or ban an account that breaks these rules.
Takedown and reports
To report a sticker or ask for your work to be removed, email [email protected] with the sticker (or a link) and the reason, or long-press the sticker in the app and choose Report. A sticker reported several times leaves the pack until a person reviews it. We remove valid requests.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change affects what the app sends from your phone, the app asks you to agree again before it sends anything.
